February birthstone is amethyst. Amethyst is believed to strengthen relationships and give courage to one who wears the stone. Ancient greeks thought that amethyst guarded against intoxication. It was a stone meant for royalty only, long ago.
The necklace with the solid purple amethyst pendant has peacock fresh water pearls, round faceted amethysts and Picasso czech glass wire wrapped with sterling silver wire. Pendant is 15mm wide x 26mm long.
The chain is adjustable from 17 1/2 inches to 19 5/8 inches and has a heart shaped sterling silver lobster clasp.
The second necklace is an asymmetrical combination of polished shells and round, faceted amethyst with a sterling silver torn leaf look teardrop with a clear amethyst in a clean bezel. Stones are wire wrapped with sterling silver wire mixed with sterling silver chain.
Pendant is 16mm wide x 35mm long.
Adjustable 16 1/2 to 18 1/2 inches long. Sterling silver heart lobster clasp.
